ANA Awarded Tampa Cargo GSA Contract

Tampa Cargo, the Colombian all-cargo airline, has awarded an exclusive general sales agency contract for the United Kingdom to ANA Aviation Services effective 1st September 2009.
From its Miami hub, Tampa Cargo – working closely with its sister airline, Avianca - operates Boeing 767 freighter and Airbus A330 and B767-200/300 passenger flights to Bogotá, Cali, Medellín, Barranquilla, Lima, Caracas, Valencia, Quito and Manaus. From its Bogotá hub, the airline’s network serves Santiago, Lima, Caracas, San Paulo, Panama, Mexico, and Buenos Aires.
ANA Aviation will use interline partners from several UK airports to Miami to feed Tampa Cargo’s network. For the future, Avianca the sister carrier of Tampa Cargo is evaluating a direct passenger flight between Colombia and the UK.
Javier Gonzales, GSA & New Markets Manager of Tampa Cargo, said: “After careful evaluation we have chosen ANA Aviation as our cargo GSA in the UK to develop our business from this important territory”.
