Transporting pets can be complicated, therefore we suggest you download and read the Shippers Responsibilities document and the Conditions of Carriage before proceeding to book the Pet's travel.
Your pet must travel in a IATA approved container which can be obtained from various suppliers. You can use your own container, but please be careful as some containers will not be approved under IATA regulations.
Your pet will not be allowed in the cabin, and will travel in the cargo hold, which is pressurised and temperature controlled.
If travelling within Europe you will need a Pet Travel EU Passport, for travel outside of Europe you should contact the Embassy of the country of destination.
In most cases, if you are also travelling, your pet should be able to travel on the same flight.

Once the final cost of shipment has been calculated and payment made, we will send you the shipping document (Air Waybill), standard IATA Live Animal Labels and This Way Up labels which you should clearly fix to at least 3 sides of the container (ensuring you do NOT cover any ventilation openings).
You should fix a label clearly showing the name and address of the owner, a 24 hour contact phone number and the consignee's name and address to the top of the container.
Take the IATA approved container, your pet and two completed copies of your Shippers Declaration to the cargo terminal at the departure airport at least 2 but no more than 4 hours before departure. If you intend to travel on the same flight you should get someone else to do this for you as you will also need to be checking in for the flight.
It is recommended that you feed your pet only a light meal and a short drink a few hours before dispatch of the flight, as it is better for your pet to travel on an empty stomach. All travel boxes should be fitted with water containers which will be refilled on departure.Any medication that has/is being given must also be recorded with the name of the drug and the time and route of administration.
Tranquilisation/Sedation is NOT recommended for air transport of animals.
Please advise the handling company if you are travelling on the same flight. Otherwise do not leave the airport until you know that the flight has been confirmed to leave. This helps everyone when there are unexpected problems and delays. Make sure that there in someone to meet the shipment at the cargo department at the airport of destination
